Château Fontvert is located near the village of Lourmarin in the heart of the Luberon Mountains, a region celebrated for the beauty of its landscapes. The estate was founded in 1598. For over three centuries, the soil has been cultivated by the same Huguenot family. The family has carefully maintained the land in accordance with the estate’s founding principles and traditions ever since. On twenty hectares of vineyard, cultivated in organic farming since 2008, the typical varieties - Syrah/Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Vermentino and Grenache Blanc - are fully expressed, resulting in exceptional and flavorfull wines.
